Has anyone had success with picking their dog up by the handle? My dog is 50Ibs and we use a handle to pick her up from the water onto the boat.

My chihuahua is 5lbs will the x-small fit her?

I’m thinking it would be a little big. My chihuahua is 9lbs & it fits her perfectly... there are straps to tighten it more, but it may swallow her whole/ be pretty bulky.
