Rotation feeding is not recommended for pets with food allergies or allergies, because some pets with food allergies may be more likely to have further allergies.
In fact, there are many ways to help us enrich every meal of our pet. Rotation feeding can increase diversity through different tastes (such as chicken, mutton, salmon or beef), textures (such as dry food, wet food, freeze-drying, air drying) and nutrients (such as amino acids, minerals, fatty acids).
For some parents, increasing food richness means mixing dry food with wet food, while for other parents, it may mean feeding dry food for breakfast and wet food for dinner. Some parents may choose to only feed dry food, but they will buy dry food with different flavors every time. Any of these combinations are acceptable - they all add diversity to the pet bowl!
Although rotation is not necessary, there are potential benefits to follow the rotation feeding plan for your pet!
Don't let our baby get tired of food. Feeding in turn can help maintain and increase your pet's interest in eating. In addition, although a perfect and balanced dog food can ensure that your baby gets enough nutrition, food rotation can allow your pet to ingest certain vitamins, minerals and amino acids that are not rich in other foods, which is conducive to the overall health of your pet.

How do I start to rotate my diet?

When starting the rotation feeding plan, our baby's parents should look for products with similar fat content, fiber content and other ingredients to minimize the risk of indigestion. When rotating, please be sure to follow the feeding guidelines of each product to ensure that your pet can obtain daily nutritional requirements without overfeeding.
The most common way of rotation is by changing the source of protein. Each protein source (such as chicken, mutton, beef and fish) has unique benefits, and their contents of amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins and minerals are different. Since each protein source naturally provides different levels of nutrition, we should always provide perfect and balanced pet food to pets to avoid any nutritional deficiency - which means adding an appropriate amount of other ingredients to protein to ensure healthy and balanced eating.

Benefits of common protein sources:

  • Chicken is a very delicious and relatively lean protein. It is an excellent source of B vitamins, phosphorus, selenium and linolenic acid (omega 6 fatty acids).

  • Mutton is a highly digestible high energy protein. It is a good source of vitamin B, phosphorus, zinc, iron, linolenic acid and conjugated linolenic acid (Ω 6 fatty acid). Conjugated linolenic acid is becoming an increasingly popular nutritional supplement because it can help achieve ideal weight management.

  • Salmon is a very delicious source of protein with moderate calories. It is a good source of vitamin A, vitamin B, phosphorus, selenium, iron and omega 6 fatty acids. It is also an excellent source of long-chain omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA.
